Platform Engineer - Tønsberg (English-speaking)Tech stack: .NET, Azure, SQLAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Platform Engineer to join a growing team in Tønsberg. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across backend development, cloud infrastructure, and platform reliability. You'll help build and maintain a modern platform used within the maritime domain, contributing to both technical direction and hands-on engineering.You'll collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering teams to ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and built for long-term growth. This is a role with real ownership and influence.Responsibilities*Develop and maintain backend services using .NET
*Build and operate cloud-native solutions on Azure
*Work with SQL databases and data-driven backend components
*Improve platform performance, reliability, and scalability
*Contribute to architectural decisions and platform strategy
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organisation
*Implement best practices for CI/CD, monitoring, and automationRequirements*Strong experience with .NET and backend development
*Solid understanding of Azure cloud services
*Experience with SQL and data-centric backend systems
*Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and DevOps practices
*Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
