Division: Kongsberg Maritime - Maritime SimulationBuild the Future of Maritime TrainingKongsberg Maritime is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape K-Sim Connect, our next-generation, cloud-based simulation platform. This role is ideal for a full-stack developer passionate about scalable cloud solutions and modern web technologies, and motivated by creating products that support maritime education and training worldwide.Your Responsibilities*Design and develop full-stack solutions, covering both front-end and back-end services for simulation platforms and user portals.
*Ensure high availability, security, and performance using Microsoft Azure.
*Integrate simulation services with subscription management, authentication, and analytics solutions.
*Collaborate closely with UX designers, simulation specialists, and product managers to deliver intuitive user experiences.
*Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for fast and reliable deployments.
*Contribute to API design, enabling seamless integration with other K-Sim products and third-party systems.Required Skills*Strong experience in full-stack development*Front-end: React, Angular, or Vue
*Back-end: .NET*Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also relevant).
*Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architectures.
*Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
*Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
*Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices.
*5+ years of professional software development experience.Nice to Have*Experience with maritime simulation technologies or training standards.
