Division: Kongsberg Maritime – Maritime Simulation (K‑Sim Products)Help Build the Future of Maritime TrainingWe're proud to collaborate with Kongsberg Maritime as they are on the lookout for a Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in developing K‑Sim Connect, their next‑generation cloud‑based simulation platform.This position is perfect for developers who are passionate about scalable cloud architectures, modern web technologies, and building impactful solutions that support maritime education and training across the world.What You’ll Do:- Develop full‑stack features and services across both front‑end and back‑end components.
- Ensure high levels of availability, performance, and security using Microsoft Azure.
- Integrate simulation systems with authentication, subscription management, analytics, and other core services.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, simulation specialists, and product managers to create intuitive user experiences.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to support reliable, continuous delivery.
- Contribute to the design and development of APIs to enable interoperability with other K‑Sim products and third‑party systems.What They're Looking For:- Strong full‑stack engineering experience; Frontend React, Angular, or Vue Backend: c#/.NET
- Hands‑on experience with cloud technologies (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP relevant).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservice architectures.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Strong grasp of cloud application security best practices.
- Ideally 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority. The successful candidate may start work with limited access whilst the clearance is being processed.Bonus Skills- Experience with maritime simulation or maritime training standards.
